Newport Seafood & Wine Festival

General Festival Information

Newport's 35th Annual Seafood & Wine Festival took place on the picturesque Oregon Coast, February 23rd through February 26th, 2012. This event was held in a tented venue located near the Rogue Ales Brewery at the South Beach Marina in Newport. Artists and Craftsmen show-cased a variety of fine art, sculpture, photography, pottery, and jewelry. Pacific Northwest Wineries poured the finest of wines and culinary professionals served cuisines of delectable delights that enticed our palates.

Dates, Times and Admission

Dates: February 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2012
(The festival occurs the last full weekend in February.)

Location: The South Beach Marina Parking Lot, near the Rogue Ales Warehouse, 2320 OSU Drive, just south of downtown Newport.

Day Festival Hours Admission Fee
Thursday, Feb 23 6 pm - 10 pm $15 (includes a commemorative wine glass)
Friday, Feb 24 2 pm - 9 pm $12
Saturday, Feb 25 10 am - 6 pm $17
Sunday, Feb 26 10 am - 4 pm $7

Ticket prices did not include wine tasting. Food item prices ranged from $1 and up. Wine sampling started at $1 and glasses of wine are available for menu price. Bottles and cases of wine were sold by wineries, too!


  • You must be 21 years or older to attend this event
    and must have valid ID (no exceptions).


  • The site is smoke free and handicapped accessible.


Parking and Transportation

  • Parking was available at the festival site for $5.00.
  • Free shuttle buses (including extended Saturday evening hours!) ran on a regular schedule from downtown Newport and major hotels. Maps were available at local businesses and at the Chamber.
  • Cab service was also available for a nominal fee.
