The Young Professionals (Yo-Pros)
About
The Young Professionals is a newly formed group within the Newport Chamber of Commerce. The Yo-Pros as we like to call them get together for Civic projects, Social Networking events and to support local Chamber businesses through monthly "Lunch Mobs."
The mission of the Young Professionals is to improve the quality of life for residents in this age demographic, who currently live and work in Lincoln County. Yo-Pros is committed to providing opportunities that will encourage interaction in both a social and civic setting.

Yo-Pro FAQs
Q: Do I have to live or work in Newport?
A. No. We encourage Yo-Pros throughout Lincoln County to attend, socialize and network amongst peers.
Q: What is the cost to go to an event?
A. There are no membership dues to be involved or attend Yo-Pro events, though some events may have a small cost associated with them.

A. Just show up! You can RSVP on our Facebook page so that people know you are coming but it's not required to RSVP, just encouraged so we can plan accordingly.

A. Our general age range is 20's – 40's but we don't discriminate. Come to an event and check it out. We encourage all ages, including the young at heart.
Q: Is there a program at the event?
A. At our regular monthly Lunch Mobs our group chairperson will make announcements of upcoming events to the group. At each Lunch Mob we invite a local community group or non-profit to briefly share their program of work and their role in the community, if needed by the group we ask Yo-Pros attending to bring small donations, such as a canned food item or pet food.
